One Injured After Truck Hits House

Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services responded to an accident at approximately 9:30 this morning at 515 Fox Creek Boulevard, off Georgia Highway 5, between Woodstock and Holly Springs.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a landscaping truck had hit a vehicle, went over a small tree and then struck a two story house. The 71 year old lady in a white Honda CR-V automobile had a laceration to her head and also had bruises from her seatbelt. She was conscious and alert and was later taken to Northside Cherokee Hospital. 

The landscape truck hit the front of the house at the garage door. The people in the home escaped without injuries and there were also no injuries to the people in the landscaping truck.

Officers from the Holly Springs Police Department are investigating a cause of the accident.
