Ladies Group Presents Blankets to Chaplain Response Team

March 18, 2019

The ladies group of Carmel Baptist Church, located in Woodstock, Georgia, made homemade blankets recently and presented them yesterday at the church to the Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services Chaplain Response Team.

Members from the ladies group gave the 17 homemade blankets to Cherokee County Fire Chaplain, Don Williams.  “The blankets are sometimes given to a child when the child has lost a parent or a sibling because of a traumatic event or disaster,” stated Williams

The Chaplain Team will have the blankets available when they respond to emergency calls. “The chaplain response unit would like to extend a special thank you to the ladies group of Carmel Baptist Church Ladies Group,” added Williams.
