Sister of New York City Fire Chief Who Died in September 11th Terrorist Attack Speaks at Patriot Day Ceremony

The Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services Honor Guard make the presentation of the flags.

Lt. Phillip Shrout, with Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services, was the guest speaker.

Cherokee County Fire Chief, Tim Prather, and Cherokee County Sheriff, Frank Reynolds, place a wreath at the Public Safety Memorial.

A huge American flag, hung between two Cherokee County Ladder Trucks, is on display in downtown Canton.

Tim Cavender, Public Information Officer for Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services, served as the emcee for the event.
