Daniel Carder was promoted as the new Training Chief.

Cherokee County Fire Chief, Eddie Robinson, promotes Sam Lackender to Sergeant.

Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services promoted five firefighters on Tuesday night during ceremonies held at the Cherokee County Fire Training Center, located just south of Holly Springs.

During the ceremony, Lt. Eric Robidou was promoted to Captain, Sgt. Mark Alexander was promoted to Lieutenant and Sam Lackender was promoted to Sergeant.  Scott Gwinn was also promoted as the new Health and Safety Chief and Daniel Carder is the new Training Chief.

Numerous chiefs, firefighters, and family members attended the event. Congratulations to the five firefighters that were promoted Tuesday night.
