Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to three residential structure fires on Saturday, October 1st, 2022. The first two occurred early Saturday morning near Woodstock in unincorporated southeast Cherokee County. One was on Sunlight Drive near Hames Road and the other was on River Chase Drive off West Wylie Bridge Rd. The third fire occurred Saturday evening on Boston Ridge off Fitchburg Drive in unincorporated Cherokee County. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fires remain under investigation.
