Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) collected over 8,000 toys and 100 bicycles during our annual toy drive which benefited local community organizations such as Toys for Tots and MUST Ministries.

This year was the 75th Anniversary of the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign which has supported over 281 million children since its inception. MUST Ministries, who serves nearly 21,000 children each year, collects toys for their Toy Shops where parents of children in need can shop for their children for no charge.

Many community members brought new, unwrapped toys to their local fire stations throughout Cherokee County while other toys were collected at local businesses and events such as the March of the Toys Parade in Ball Ground, GA.

The toys and bicycles collected were distributed to local charitable organizations during the week preceding Christmas so that they could be available to families and children in time for the holidays.
