Engine 9 arrived first on scene to find a small two-story home with flames and smoke coming from the front of the structure. Pearidge Rd. was closed for an extended period due to fire hose on the ground supplying the fire engine. Deputies from Cherokee Sheriff’s Office aided with controlling and rerouting traffic in the area.

The home received significant damage to the interior and exterior of the structure.
