Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) conducted a litter pick-up yesterday, May 9, 2023, as part of the Keep Cherokee Beautiful program. The area cleaned up included Univeter Road and Chattin Drive in Canton.
Keep Cherokee Beautiful, LLC is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led organization whose mission is to benefit our community through litter reduction, greater civic involvement, area beautification and education, and awareness of recycling opportunities.
CCFES proudly adopted a mile of Chattin Dr. last year and added a mile of Univeter Rd. this year. The fire department conducts litter pick-up in these areas semi-annually.
