Fire Apparatus Operator (FAO) Richard Davis retired Wednesday, December 13, after 15 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Cherokee County. Firefighters and family gathered at Station 12 in Waleska Wednesday morning for breakfast and fellowship before Davis had his final ride in Engine 18.
Cherokee Fire would like to congratulate FAO Davis on his retirement. "We thank you and your family for giving the citizens and our department your very best for the past 15 years," said Fire Chief Eddie Robinson.
