Eleven members of CCFES graduated from the Carl Vinson Institute Management Development Program this week at the L.B. “Buzz” Ahrens, Jr. Recreation Center.
This 20-day program took place over 8 months and included Cherokee County employees from several agencies. The program offers management and leadership development tailored for local government with curriculum focuses on the development of personal and group leadership skills.
In addition to learning, participants completed a group community service project and individual projects designed to improve the operations and service delivery of CCFES.
Graduates from CCFES included Division Chief Chad Davis, Division Chief Ryan McElwee, Captain Jason Williams, Captain Ric Mitchell, Deputy Chief Mark Orr, Captain John Carrol, Division Chief Chad Arp, Battalion Chief Clay Cloud, Division Chief Marc Liscio, Deputy Chief Kevin Lanier, and Budget Manager Amanda Postelle.
