Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) proudly announces the promotion of two dedicated firefighters. The promotion ceremony was held on Tuesday night at the Cherokee County Fire Training Complex in Holly Springs.

FAO Spencer Williams was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and Sergeant Ross Young was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. The newly promoted members began serving in their new roles on April 28, 2024.

Fire Chief Eddie Robinson expressed heartfelt gratitude to the families and friends of Sergeant Williams and Lieutenant Young, recognizing their support and sacrifices. He also honored the fire service retirees and veterans in attendance, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the department and our nation.

Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services extends warm congratulations to Sergeant Williams and Lieutenant Young on their well-deserved promotions. We have full confidence in their abilities and wish them continued success in their new positions.
