Five Firefighters Promoted

Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) held a special promotion ceremony on Wednesday evening at the Cherokee County Fire Training Complex in Holly Springs. The event was attended by family members, friends, and fellow firefighters, all gathering to recognize the achievements of five dedicated firefighters.

• Austin Hrossowyc

Lieutenant:

• Brian Carter

Captain:

• Andy Smith

Battalion Chief:

• Justin Gilleland

During the ceremony, family members had the honor of pinning badges and collar insignia on their loved ones, marking the beginning of this significant milestone in their careers. CCFES Fire Chief Eddie Robinson, along with other department leaders, expressed their pride and admiration for each individual's commitment to protecting and serving the community.

After the ceremony, a reception provided an opportunity for guests to enjoy refreshments and celebrate the achievements of the newly promoted officers.
