Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) held a promotion ceremony on Wednesday, May 7th, at the CCFES Fire Training Complex in Holly Springs to recognize the achievements of several outstanding members of the department.
In a ceremony filled with pride and celebration, the following individuals were officially promoted:
To Division Chief: Shannon Gibbs
To Battalion Chief: Phillip Carlisle
To Captain: Brandon Denson
To Sergeant: Jonathan Fournier, James Passmore, Matthew Hudson, Beau Witcher, Anthony Ciorba, and Chris Buckner
Family members, friends, and fellow firefighters gathered to witness and celebrate these well-deserved promotions. During the ceremony, loved ones had the honor of pinning badges and collar insignia on the newly promoted officers—a symbolic gesture marking an important milestone in their careers.
CCFES Fire Chief Eddie Robinson, along with department leadership, expressed heartfelt congratulations and acknowledged the honorees' dedication, professionalism, and continued service to the citizens of Cherokee County.
Following the formal proceedings, a reception allowed attendees to enjoy refreshments and fellowship.
