Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) hosted a promotion ceremony on Wednesday, May 28, at the CCFES Fire Training Complex to celebrate the achievements of several distinguished department members.
In a ceremony marked by pride and tradition, the following individuals were officially promoted:
Battalion Chief: Michael Sims and Ric Mitchell
Sergeant: Stephen Wilson and Timothy Vickery
Family, friends, and fellow firefighters gathered to share in the celebration, as loved ones took part in the meaningful tradition of pinning badges and collar insignia on the newly promoted officers—honoring a significant milestone in their careers.
Fire Chief Eddie Robinson, along with other department leaders, extended heartfelt congratulations and praised the honorees for their unwavering commitment, professionalism, and dedication to serving the citizens of Cherokee County.
