Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES), alongside county officials and community partners, proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting of Station 30 Tuesday. The new station is located on East Cherokee Drive beside Johnston Elementary School in Holly Springs.

The program featured opening and closing remarks from Deputy Chief of Support Services Kevin Lanier, the Presentation of Colors and Pledge of Allegiance by the CCFES Honor Guard, and an invocation by Fire Chaplain Johnny Weaver. Guest speakers included Fire Chief Eddie Robinson, Dr. Jonathan Allen, Board of Commissioners Chairman Harry Johnston, District 3 Commissioner Benny Carter, Matt Parton of KRH Architects, and Stanton Ward of Ward-Humphrey.

The ceremony concluded with the official ribbon cutting, where CCFES leadership, county leadership, and elected officials formally opened the station to the community.

“Station 30 represents our continued commitment to protecting the citizens and visitors of Cherokee County,” said Fire Chief Eddie Robinson. “We are grateful for the support of our county leaders and community as we open this station and begin serving from it.”

Station 30 was designed and built to strengthen emergency medical response in southeast Cherokee County, expanding ambulance coverage for nearby neighborhoods, schools, and businesses. The facility is equipped to house an ambulance and a Medical Control supervisor, providing around-the-clock advanced life support and supervision.
