Members of Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) had the privilege of joining the Sandy Springs Fire Department, Santa Claus, Spider-Man, Blooper, and law enforcement partners on Friday to spread holiday cheer at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Scottish Rite Hospital.

This cherished annual tradition began with an exciting spectacle as firefighters, superheroes, and mascots rappelled down the side of the hospital, waving and cheering to young patients watching from their windows. Smiles and excitement filled the hospital as the celebration continued inside, where members distributed toys, treats, and encouragement to children and their families.

“We are truly honored to be part of such a special tradition,” said CCFES Fire Chief Eddie Robinson. “It’s an opportunity to give back in a personal and meaningful way, while bringing joy to these resilient kids and their families.”

The event served as a powerful reminder of the impact community partnerships and simple acts of kindness can have, especially during the holiday season. CCFES is proud to support efforts that uplift children and families during challenging times and looks forward to continuing this meaningful tradition.
