Just after 8:00 PM this evening, Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) was dispatched to a structure fire on South Holly Springs Rd. Upon arrival, firefighters found a barn fully engulfed in flames.
Crews immediately began aggressive firefighting operations, working to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading to surrounding areas. Their quick action was crucial in containing the fire to the barn itself.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and the barn was not used for housing animals. No animals were harmed in the incident.
The CCFES Fire Investigations Team is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
