Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services is seeking motivated, disciplined, and courageous individuals to join its ranks as Recruit Firefighters.

Current Opportunities:

  • Firefighter Entry-Level (during recruit school): $53,095- $62,784

Additional Pay Incentives Include:

  • $100 per ambulance shift worked
  • 1.5x pay for holidays
  • Degree incentives:
    • Associate Degree: +$1,000
    • Bachelor’s Degree: +$2,000
    • Master’s Degree: +$3,000
  • Bilingual/ASL incentive: +$1,000
