Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (CCFES) held a retirement luncheon on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 at the Cherokee County Fire Training Complex where friends, family, and colleagues gathered to honor Division Chief of Training Daniel Carder.
Throughout his distinguished career of nearly three decades, Chief Carder has helped shape generations of firefighters through his leadership, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to training. His influence extends far beyond the classroom, it’s reflected in every firefighter who carries the knowledge, confidence, and professionalism he instilled throughout his career.
