A promotion ceremony was held tonight at the Cherokee County Fire Training Center located in Holly Springs. Friends, family, and members of CCFES gathered together to celebrate the accomplishments of some of our members. In keeping with department tradition, loved ones had the special honor of pinning new badges on the promotees, symbolizing an important milestone in their firefighting careers.
The newly promoted members are:
Division Chief Jason Williams
Battalion Chief Nathan Croft
Sergeant London McQuillen
Fire Chief Kevin Lanier spoke directly to the newly promoted, re-instilling the department values and expressing pride in the work that they have done.
