After 16 years of dedicated service, we honor and celebrate Sergeant Jeremy Simmons as he retires from Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services. Known for his unwavering consistency, his commitment to the community, and the smile he carries with him through every shift, he has been a steady source of strength for all of us.
Sergeant Simmons led by example, showing up ready, staying focused, and bringing positivity even on the toughest days. His impact on this department, and on everyone who had the privilege of working beside him, will be felt for years to come.
Fire Chief Kevin Lanier thanked Sergeant Simmons for his unwavering dedication and consistency over his years of service. To commemorate his time at CCFES, Chief Lanier presented Sergeant Simmons with a personally engraved helmet plaque.
