Several Members Recognized by the American Legion Post 45

Tonight, Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services attended the American Legion Community Service Awards Dinner along with public safety agencies from around the county to recognize outstanding service in public safety.

Earlier this year, we announced our 2025 Of-the-Year award recipients, and several of those honored individuals were recognized during the ceremony. Their commitment, professionalism, and dedication to our community continue to set an exceptional standard.

Finance Director Amanda Postelle: Administrative Member of the Year
FAO Brody Miller: Special Operations Member of the Year
FF Gabriel Lopez: EMT of the Year
FAO Tate Dill: Paramedic of the Year
FAO Joel Saunders: Firefighter of the Year
Captain Cody Wilson: Fire Officer of the Year
Battalion Chief Jason Williams: Chief Fire Officer of the Year

We're grateful to the American Legion Post 45 for their generosity and the opportunity to recognize our people alongside public safety agencies county wide.
