Last night around 8:30 p.m., Cherokee Fire responded to a report of a tree that had fallen into a residence in Holly Springs. When the first arriving companies made it on scene, they were met with a complex situation. The occupant of the residence was unharmed but was unable to get out. Power to the area had also been knocked out.

Units from Station 24 and Station 8 worked together to stabilize the structure, light up the scene, and create a plan to extricate the resident. The resident was extricated from the structure without incident.

Mission driven and highly trained, our crews are always ready to respond.
