The application process for new firefighter recruits for Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services is now open. Applications must be completed on-line by Sunday, October 22nd. Qualified candidates must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver’s license.
Applicants must attend only one of the mandatory fire department orientation seminars. You will not be eligible to continue in the hiring process if you do not attend one of these sessions. Be prepared to attend a mandatory orientation session at 6:30PM on either Monday, October 23rd, or Tuesday, October 24th. This will be held at the Cherokee Fire Training Complex, located at 3985 Holly Springs Parkway, Canton, GA 30114.

Candidates should receive an orientation notice email from the Human Resources Department of the fire department within 4 business days of your application submittal. Candidates are encouraged to check their spam and junk folders if you do not receive this notice.
