Stuff A Squad Event This Saturday

December 13, 2018
Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services will be hosting a “Stuff A Squad” event at the Cherokee County Fire Training Center, located at 3985 Holly Springs Parkway, this Saturday, December 15th between 3PM and 7PM.

The event is open to the public and will benefit the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch. Attendees are asked to bring gift donations to help fill the interior of a squad (ambulance). Unwrapped gifts for boys age 10-18 and monetary donations are appreciated for admission to the event. For those unable to attend the event, gift donations can be made at any Cherokee County Fire station until December 14th. All gift donations will be brought to the event.

According to Leslie Sullivan, coordinator of the event, “I visited Goshen Valley’s Canton office earlier this year as part of a community program I was involved in. After learning more about the organization, I became very interested in finding ways I could do more to help their cause.”

The event will also feature photo opportunities with Santa Claus, holiday activities and fire trucks will also be on display!
